Middlesex County Library cardholders can borrow from any Middlesex County Library location. Items can be returned to any location, regardless of where they were borrowed.
All items can be returned to exteriors drop boxes and returns slots at anytime (with the exception of board games that do not fit into the slots).
Eligible items without holds can be renewed online using your online account, when visiting a library or by phoning a library.
Patrons are notified of overdue items by email or by phone if no email address has been provided.
Items in the juvenile and young adult collections are free from overdue fines, but are still subject to fees if lost or damaged.
An item is considered lost once it is 4-weeks overdue and a bill will be issued outlining replacement fees.
Items returned with obvious damage, beyond normal wear and tear, will be billed for replacement at the discretion of library staff. Once you've paid the replacement charge, the damaged item is yours to keep.
